Dancing the light fantastic (again) with some sad thoughts

Today I logged on and thought no one was there (the Lindens were being monkeys again), so I went straight to an "Only Half Crazy" concert.

It turned out that it was for tinies, and so I chose a solo tiny's ball and danced :-)


No doubt ellie will be pleased to see me "cut down to size" :D


The yellow crayon donations box was for the Japanese tsunami and earthquake victims ... and undoubtedly nuclear victims to be ... I have been reading the papers about Chernobyl where there is an estimate that up to a million may eventually die due to radiation poisoning. Let us pray this does not happen in Japan . . . . . .

Anyway, back to frivolity, here is a picture of a tiny OHC and her GIANT hamster.


Then eefje came on, and so I went with her to a Elvera concert, where I was more sensible in my dance steps :-) and because she was singing "blue velvet dress" I changed into a blue gown that was one of my very first purchases in SL:



And then roberta logged on :-) and I was able to dance with her (BTW that robot is eefje being my court jester, and being dressed up as a dancing robot, I should have mentioned that Elvera was also supporting tinies are her event -- that's tinies evie, not tinnies !)


Then I had to leave them both to go to work :-(

Eefje has been helping someone through the ups and downs of their SL
So much so that Eefje now has a new girl
So today I spent a little time with them
Here I am meeting them ...


And then we went to watch the girl dance for us
she makes an excellent kajira =)

a rough weekend ~ a quiet time

I had a rough weekend
RL was very rude
work work work

but on Monday I got up at 4am
and I managed to spend some time with roberta and eefje

just sitting and talking
pretending we had a picnic

they are my sanity in a crazy world

I received a sad note ...

... from some neighbours; I had offered to buy their land in the past, and they remembered my offer and so contacted me -- it was sad that they have the need to sell, but I was pleased to add some land to my western boundaries.

I know I will never be able to get rid of the mall that is in the NW corner *sigh*

But slowly I have acquired most of Yangpa; there are some plots remaining -- but they blend in with the overall theme of Peace & Tranquility that I wanted to achieve.

I really should spend this weekend doing some landscaping and rearrangement of the girls' cottages -- but I am such a procrastinator that I suspect the weekend will fly past and the work shall remain undone =)

the mystery of the mysterious visitor is demystified

I was puzzled by readers being puzzled as to who the visitor may have been

Then I discovered some pix in the wrong directory ... so I retrieved them ... and checked the blog ... and discovered a missing story :)

No wonder people were confused !

I had several crashes today ... and during one recovery I snapped that picture ... it seemed to go with this blog entry that I read:

I left SL six months ago.

I left because it had lost meaning for me. I’d lost friends, lost my purpose, lost any sense of fun.

This was, and is, a reflection of my feelings RL now – how could it be otherwise? – the pressures of daily life, of frustration with work, and needing to find new direction in my life.

Sad words from Aenea, but some times (in the middle of the week) this is how I feel; and then I have some lovely times on the weekend and my faith is restored.

Dancing the light fantastic

Dear readers :)

By comparison to yesterday, some sweet dancing, although some looks like its from THAT movie :))

We started with eefje and roberta dancing ... but roberta was worried that eefje would get banned ... and so eefje left rather than get dressed !!



So I took over the dancing ....


and we tried several dances :)
